Bayona – New Orleans

he8:  Sweetbreads to rival Buenos Aires and an afternoon with she8 and shiraz.  A perfect day.

she8:  First meal in NOLA and not the last time I will visit. Had the most interesting PB&J with a twist!

we8:  Eggplant Caviar and Tapenade with Herb Croutons, Goat Cheese Crouton with Mushrooms in Madeira Cream, Sautéed Sweetbreads with Potatoes, Mushrooms & Sherry Mustard Butter, and Smoked Duck, Cashew-Peanut Butter and Pepper Jelly Sandwich.

Sibling Rivalry – Boston

he8:  I give a couple rounds to chef Dave and a couple rounds to chef Bob.

she8:  No rivalry here.  We were lucky to find this spot and lets just say someone’s luck didn’t end at the restaurant.

we8: Steak Tartare, Seared Jumbo Cape Scallops (with Anaheim Chili Relleno,  Chorizo, Black Beans, Tomatillo Relish & Salsa Fresco), Moroccan Style Lamb Brik (with Cumin, Soft Poached Egg, Curried Lamb Jus & Cool Cucumber Salad) & some type of dumplings but too drunk to remember.
