Bubby’s Tribeca – New York City

17 Jun

he8:  Could be the quietest breakfast I ever had. Someone lost their voice!

she8:  …

we8:  Cheese grits, Oatmeal, and Matzo Ball soup.

Catch – New York City

28 May

he8:  This place must be named after she8. (I’m sure its got nothing to do with the mac & cheese).

she8:  I thought he8 was the perfect catch… but then I met Mr. sticky rice cakes.

we8:  crunchy Rice Cakes (Tuna Tartare, Wasabi Tobiko), Macaroni & Lobster cream (mascarpone, breadcrumbs), assortment of sushi.

Cafe Orlin – NYC

7 Feb

he8:  He8she8’s 2nd home.  For some reason we can’t get out of there without 4 plates and 8 glasses of something; makes for a great evening though, martinis make me very handsome…

she8:  Orlin is anything but ordinary. I’ve cherished breakfast at the bar here too many times to even count with he8. However, the hangovers not so much.

we8: TUNISIAN EGGS: eggs over easy, over spicy peppers & tomatoes with homefries and pita, MUSHROOM, SHALLOT, AND HERB OMELET, CHICKEN AND PISTACHIO SAUSAGE.

Hillstone – New York

8 Oct

he8:  Spinach dip… first course. Great salmon… main course. The corn… as an outer course.  Next…

she8: Popeye would be proud. The bowl of spinach dip was licked clean. However, Olive Oil would be disgusted.

we8: THE ROCKEFELLER  (warm spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips and salsa), ASIAN STEAK & NOODLE SALAD (Marinated filet, avocado, fresh herbs and Thai dressing), & PAN ROASTED KING SALMON (Caesar side salad and Peruvian corn).
