she8: Speakeasies and tattoos are nothing new to the East Village, but Gerard’s gift served up an evening I wouldn’t exchange for anything. Well, maybe for another French Connection cocktail! (Sparkling Rose, Almond, Blood Orange)

we8:  Smoked Whitefish with caraway crackers, Sishito Peppers with pickled watermelon, Avocado/Grapefruit/Chorizo Oil, Roasted chicken (natural reduction with salted lime, chorizo kale), Tomatoes/stone fruit/kunik cheese.

she8: French beach side restaurant. Full bellies of fish. Sunset with he8. Completely fulfilled.

we8: Moules à-la-Plancha (méditerranéen mussels, cracked pepper, beurre fondue),  Loup de Mer (lemon, thym), Grilled Octopus, Tuna Tartare.

she8: Our table of eight definitely put the social in this social club. When you’re surrounded by great people… that’s all that truly matters.

we8: Pan Seared Striped Bass Provencale (organic red quinoa& roasted local asparagus), Classic Caesar, Prince Edward Island Mussels (saffron shallot & garlic white wine broth, toasted baguette), Braised Short Rib Sliders (roasted strawberry barbecue sauce, cole slaw, toasted brioche buns, gherkins).

he8:  Outdoor atmosphere, going from day to night, at the same pace that she8 goes through sparkling Rose.

she8:  Seriously… sweetbreads? No thanks sweet cheeks. Now I don’t have to share my watermelon & mint salad! Every bite was heaven.

we8:  Pan Seared Diver Scallops (chanterelle mushrooms, English pea puree, crispy pancetta, pickled ramps), Beef  Sliders (aged white cheddar, applewood smoked bacon & chipotle ketchup served on a pretzel-glazed brioche bun), Organic Green Salad (bibb lettuce, watercress, wild arugula, fennel, haricot vert, lemon dressing), Watermelon Salad (watermelon, mint, cucumber, tomato, toasted pine nuts, ricotta cheese), Veal Sweetbreads (heirloom tomato and marrow fondue).
